Grammar:
- Tornado: Are violently spinning columns of air that extend from a thunderstorm to the ground. Tornadoes can destroy buildings, flip cars and create deadly wind-driven debris.
- Hurricane: They are the most violent atmospheric phenomena of our nature. They are a natural process of the planet Earth to transport excess energy from the tropical area to colder regions.
- Typhoon: The concept of typhoon is used in meteorology to refer to a hurricane that forms in the ocean or, more precisely, in the China Sea. A hurricane, on the other hand, is a strong wind that produces whirlwinds.
- Flood: Flooding occurs when water overflows the normal limits of a stream, river or other body of water or accumulates in an area that is usually dry.
- Landslide: Landslides occur when the soil on a slope becomes unstable, and quantities of soil, mud and rock begin to flow down the slope. They can cause severe damage and are difficult to predict.
- Drought: Drought is a transient anomaly characterized by a temporary shortage of water, compared to the normal supply, over a given period of time (a season, a year, or several years).
